Yeh Hai Mohabbatein
Yeh Hai Mohabbatien (Star Plus) starring the beautiful Divyanka Tripathi and the handsome Karan Patel is a show based on lives of two different individuals -- Ishita and Raman-- having their own doomed pasts and problems. Raman who is a father of two faces a broken marriage where his wife leaves him for not being able to provide him with the material luxuries. She leaves him for Raman's boss taking their son with her. The pain of the betrayal not only makes him emotionless but also one of the most successful and richest business man. Ishita is a dentist who suffered pain in her past when her long time boyfriend leaves her at the alter when he comes to know about Ishita's inability to become a mother.
The story is about Ruhi (Ramans's daughter) who yearns for her father's love and desires a mother. She meets Ishita and become each other's soulmates. Ishita marries Raman to be Ruhi's mother and Raman marries Ishita to retain the custody of her daughter who is deeply attached to Ishita. The story is about how Ishita brings the father - daughter closer, how the couple eventually fall in love, how they discover unconditional love in each other's presence.
Dil Ki Nazar Se ........Khubsoorat
Dil Ki Nazar Se Khubsoorat (Sony TV) truly lived upto it's title. It focused on importance given to outer beauty and inner beauty. The story was about Aardhya (played by Saumya Seth) and Madhav (played by Rohit Khurana). Aardhya is beautiful. gorgeous, smart and confident. She fears anything which is ugly. She is obsessed with beauty and good looks. Whereas Madhav is a below average looking man with a heart full of love and emotions but low on confidence because of his not so good features. He oftens becomes object of mockery because of this so called issue.
Aardhya is in love with voice and thoughts of an RJ named Ehsaas who is a love guru on the radio. In her quest to find Ehsas she joins his radio station. Madhav falls in love with her. Aardhya is in love with Ehsaas and gets married to him not knowing he no one else but Madhav. A beautiful girl marries a not so good looking man whom she hates in the begining but eventually falls for his inner beauty.
Udaan
Udaan (Colors TV) is a serial that deals with the issue of bonded labour. Chakor (Spandan Chaturvedi) is a free-spirited seven year old girl, who gets sold to the village zamindar, by her poverty-stricken family. Udaan is the story about Chakur's desires, her incomparable will power and her strength and determination to live a life free from any bondage. It's a struggle of a seven years old girl who fights all odds without loosing her determination to make her life as well a lives of people of her village who are the victims of bonded labour as well as child labour.
Ek Haseena Thi
A suspense thriller with a backdrop of revenge. Durga (Sanjeeda Sheikh) wows to take revenge from Shaurya (Vatsal Seth) who goes scott free in a rape case of Durga's sister and daughter of Shaurya's driver. Shaurya is a rich, spoilt brat without any iota of guilt for all his heinous crimes which he confidently commits in the shadow of his uber rich parents who have the capacity to mould the law and order and everything under the sun in their favour. Sakshi (Simone Singh) saves her son Shaurya from the rape case by using her power and her money. She destroys Durga's family and turns her sister into a mental patient. Durga who some how gets saved from her evil plans comes back with a plan for revenge against Shaurya and his mother.
Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha
Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (Colors TV) after it's first season2 came back with season 2 on fans demand. Megha Vyas is a young widow and a mother of two. She is in a quest to get justice for her late husband who was framed in a fake corruption case. Mohan Bhatnagar (Kunal Karan Kapoor) is a crime reporterHe becomes friends with Megha's daughter Navika. Navika fondly calls him spiderman and he fondly calls her chavvani. The adorable relationship chavvani and spiderman became the highlight of the show. Megha and Mohan come together to solve the mystery behind a flyover demolition case in order to get justice for her husband. In their pursuit for justice they both fall in love. They get married fighting the society that raises questions against widow remarriage.
Everest
Everest (Star Plus) is yet another woman centric show. It's a story of Anjali who is an obedient daughter and her mother's life. She has everything in life expect for her father's love. Her father is an army man who always wanted a son who could join the army and make him proud. He doesnt find Anjali capable of doing anything worthy in life. Anjali on the other aims to fulfill her father's dream of reaching Mt. Everest in order to get his love in her life.
Tu Mera Hero
Tu Mera Hero (Star Plus) is supposedly a tribute to India's longest running romantic movie DDLJ.
Paanchi (played by Sonia Balani) is a sweet, adorable girl who is a die hard romantic. Her life dwells around love. She loves the feeling of loving someone and being loved in return. Paanchi is a hopelessly romantic girl. She falls in love with Titto (played by Priyanshu Jaru). Titto is a charmer with a large heart and moral values. Only problem with him is his laziness which ceases to go. He is comfortable in his world of comforts without having any inclination for forgoing his comforts inorder to enter the real world. Paachi falls deeply in love with Titto. Titto's father gets him married to Paanchi considering her as the only individual who could make his son a responsible person. His father is oblivious of the fact that Paanchi is unaware of Titto's level of laziness. It would be interesting to watch how Paanchi would turn her prince charming into a responsible prince charming.
